Something Review
Something needs to be sung. Many bands have songs, or whole albums, about their life on the road. In our case, that would not make a very interesting album. Track 1: Woke Up, Then Showered. Track 2: Tried To Find Starbucks. Track 3: Drove All Day. Track 4: Met Concert Hosts and Concert Goers. Ahh! Now, that s Something: the people who touch our lives. Something needs you. If we had an album about life on the road, it wouldn t be about our life on the road. Rather, it would be about our life with you on this road we travel together. Without the folks who buy our albums, send us e-mails, and attend our concerts, there would be no life on the road because we d just stay home and listen to Running On Empty all day. Something needs to be said. We have some things we ve tried to say on this album. Here s Something: Do not let your hearts be troubled. Or, here s Something: May the fruit we bear be Christ. Something for everyone: The Kingdom s big enough for you. Oh, and here s Something at it s most basic and important: There is nothing that can separate us from the Love of God. We hope that on Something you find some things that speak to you. It would be nice to think that everybody likes Something. (We may be dreamers, but we do not sleep all day long.) Obviously, not everyone will like Something. Whatever you think about Something, or whatever you think about This, please be assured of one thing: God has spoken a Word of Love whose name is Jesus.
